Project description

ANRO metal industries has built the interior structure of the so-called “Tower of Heroes”, a giant sculpture, 50 meters high, located in the Georgian city of Tbilisi, the capital of the country, being the world’s largest methacrylate structure.

This monument is dedicated to the heroes of the war that the country suffered in 2008. The “Tower of Heroes” is based on a square base that is turning its axis as it goes up in level and is covered by prisms of methacrylate and natural stone. About prisms will be recorded the names of the fallen in the armed conflict.

The Tower carries inside a metal structure highly complex, having been to ANRO the greater difficulty of the project the short time frame available to be done, in just two months, including definition of knots and paint treatment. This building for Georgia is the first work created by ANRO to another European country.
